We aren’t very sure what to say about Terror Reid. We received a phone call from Getter a few weeks ago. He said he ran out of vodka so he chugged a gallon of windex. Apparently, he blacked out for a whole day and woke up with new music and a collection of ski masks. He claimed somebody by the name of “Terror Reid” took over his body and stole his hip hop beats.
They just debuted the new track “Uppercuts” via his own Shred Collective. A clear diversion from the usual Getter sound, this ghoulish character, Terror Reid, displays yet another genre that Getter can conquer, at least we think it was him. While almost killing Getter upon transformation, “Uppercuts” is a steading bumping hip-hop beat with both crude and comical verses layered on top.
Getter transforms into Terror Reid by donning a ski mask and assuming a more menacing, chemical induced, alter-ego. Terror Reid proves to be a profane and mind-bending wordsmith and “Uppercuts” is just the beginning.
